I’m not typing any more umlauts unless Lemmy makes me.

Björk
All is Full of Love (Funkstorung Exclusive Mix)
All is Full of Love (Strings)
All Is Full Of Love (Live in Brussels)
Human Behaviour (Close To Human Mix – Speedy J.)
Human Behaviour (Underworld Mix)
Human Behaviour (Dom T. Mix)
Human Behaviour (Bassheads Edit)
Cocoon (Retangled by Ensemble)
It’s In Our Hands (Arcade Mix)
It’s In Our Hands (Soft Pink Truth Mix)

So Broken (Live on Jools Holland)
This is the second all-Björk post by me this month! It’s crazy. Maybe I should add umlauts to the title graphic? No, fuck that, I hate typing those fuckers. I either have to dig out a macro key or find one I already wrote and cut and paste it everytime I want to use it. I don’t know how the Icelandic, Norwegian and Swedish bloggers handle it without going insane. I posted a couple of these mixes before, but I still recommend downloding them even if you have those old versions because these are rips from CD singles. As I said before, I think it must be a rule that all Björk vinyl sounds like shit. I have never bought a used copy of a Björk 12-inch that didn’t look like it was handled by someone who had steel wool for hands.

BTW, “rectangle” cannot be made into a verb. I don’ care what Ensemble wants you to think.

I’ve been following your site for quite some time now – hope it’ll keep on growing strong!
Anyway, is it “rectangled” or “retangled” (as it says in the download description)? The latter would perhaps make slightly more sense as a play on “untangle the cocoon”…
Also, I suggest you get yourself a Scandinavian keyboard: it’s got all the ä, ö and even the Ã¥ just one hit of a key away!

Ah, I’m apparently illiterate. Thanks for the tip. Sigh.

Hello, yes I love Bjork. But you seem to have the only download for Lori Carson Fall in the light, but i try and it won’t load, can you repost. I love you sight, and thank you so much.

Next time use quotes for the song and include a link to the post. It makes my life easier. I’ll try to put it in my next post.

I appreciate your site and all the music and commentary you post, some i like better than others, but you’re always entertaining.
Question: what do you recommend to use other than itunes? what is better about that program?
    thanks

I wish I knew! I can’t find anything that works good. Especially with my new Shuffle. It’s annoying.

I met my Swedish wife whilst still having a UK keyboard – these little gems got burned into me along the way.

ALT + 0246 – the inimitable ö you’re after for Motörhead or Björk.
If you have to do Swedish, then ALT + 0228 (ä) and ALT + 0229 (Ã¥) are also worth knowing. I now work in Denmark which means having to use Danish keys on a Swedish keyboard, even more worlds of pain, like K ALT + 0248 benhavn for example…

Just found your blog today – I have just realised how much of a Björk nerd I must be to have most of these mixes already (including the Funkstörung mix of “All Is Full of Love” on 12″, along with the criminally underplayed elsewhere “This Shit”)!

I’ll definitely be a Repeat Offender to use an absolutely awful album title pun…

You’re right, rectangle cannot be turned into a verb. However tangle already is and I suspect that is what Ensemble are metaphorically redoing..
    Still love you though.. 😉
