Re(post)mo Williams: The Adventure Continues (Reposts Day 5)

A post a day for the entire workweek, I’m only doing this post to set that record benchmark for myself, a benchmark that will likely never be repeated or broken.

Today (Friday) is the last day to request anything. I’ll be posting requests for at least another week or so, but I’m not taking any more after tonight. Get them in while you can. Of course, asking for stuff doesn’t mean you’re going to get it either, but not asking for it is a definite way not to get anything.

Just reposts tonight, nothing new.

Devo
Disco Dancer (7” Version)
Disco Dancer (12” Version)
Disco Dancer (Bonus Beats)
Luv-Luv
You think they make those suits to fit a 6’6” dude? I need one now.

Pete Shelley
Homosapien (Special Mix)
Yesterday’s Not Here (Special Mix)
Witness The Change/I Don’t Know What It Is (Extended Combo Version)
I said it once before and I’ll say it again. “Homosapien” is the gayest song I ever heard, and that’s coming from a man with crates of Erasure and Pet Shop Boys singles.

Real Life
Send Me An Angel (Heaven No. 7 Mix)
Send Me An Angel (Cloud Nine Mix)
If you grew up in the 80s in America then there’s a good chance you first heard this song in the movie RAD. For those of you who haven’t seen that classic cinema gem, it’s an ultra-corny 80s flick about BMX racing that is painfully out of print (it’s like the URGH! of corny 80s sports films). Anyways, the best scene in the film is when the hero and his girl slow dance to this song, whilst on BMX bikes. Somehow this movie was snubbed at the Oscars.

Cameo
Word Up (12” Version)
It’s the code word motherfucker.

Thanks so much for the Real Life mixes. And thanks for reminding me about RAD! hahaha

It’s also excellent to have a 12″ mix of Word Up. That song was just not long enough. Owwwwww.
