The 1998 version of me is pumped

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

I just found out that Stan Lee is coming to the Pittsburgh Comic-Con. I bought an extremely overpriced ticket to get his autograph. Which means I’m gonna meet Stan Lee.

I’m gonna meet Stan Lee!

Okay, variations of that statement are going to be a large part of what you read here for the next two weeks or so, deal with it.

The Black Ghosts
Repetition Kills You (Extended Mix)
Repetition Kills You (Phones – Chicago Boys Extradition Mix)
Repetition Kills You (Diplo Mix)

The Black Ghosts album is good, but this track is a fucking masterpiece. It’s for sure going on my list of best tracks of the decade. It has everything a great dance track needs, its catchy as hell and features some amazing beats. The extended version is more of the same (the same being awesome) and the remixes are damn good too. Diplo’s is very interesting, a great insturmental deconstruction of the track. I got this 12” at Reckless Records in Chicago. Cool Place.

DeeJay Punk-Roc
Far Out (Rasmus Remix)
Rockin’ It (Roc Raider Rockin’ It Remix)

His name is DeeJay Punk-Roc, I found this 12” in the rap section and the music is turntablist friendly big beat techno. Confused yet? What the hell happened to this guy? Anyone?

By the way, I’m going to meet Stan lee!
