Post Lolla New Age Jams

So last year after Lollapalooza I ended up with some sort of viral infection and nearly died from dehydration and a fever of 103. This year I ended up having to drive to Milwaukee so I don’t know which is worse.

I just got back home today and my bed is looking mighty inviting, so not much in the way of Lollaplaooza ranting/raving tonight. However, I did contribute to the team coverage over at Bullz-Eye. Read it. Love it. I have some more to say and I’ll do that here sometime next week. I’ll also have some amazingly awesome photos to share with you all then too.

Until then here’s some Mike Oldfield. Yes, I said Mike Oldfield. I don’t know why. Just go with it okay? I don’t tell you how to run your mp3 blog.

One more quick thing. I talked to many cool people at Lollapalooza this year and I told them all to come read this awesome site. If Jose from the Dan Deacon show or that Nirvana-loving kid from The Killers show are reading this, email me (the address is to the right) because I want to hook you guys up with some cool tunes.

Mike Oldfield
Far Above The Clouds (Jam & Spoon Mix)
Far Above The Clouds (Timewriter’s Big Bag Of Secrets Mix)
Far Above The Clouds (Jam & Spoon Deep Inside Club Mix)
Far Above The Clouds (Jam & Spoon Far Below The Bass Mix)

What do you call this stuff? New Age? Trance? Neoclassical? Whatever it is it is very good and will help me unwind tonight so I can sleep for 10 hours in my own bed. These are from a 12” single I picked up eons ago but never got around to recording. I hope you enjoy.
