Jazz Fusion For Punk Rockers In Love

Nothing incredibly bizarre or rare today, just some nice tunes. I got some more soundtracks I’ll be posting later in the week, including one to a movie that I can’t even locate on the IMDB! I’ve never found a movie that wasn’t on the IMDB before – do I get a cookie for that?

Billy Idol – Flesh For Fantasy (Below The Belt Mix)
Random 80s remix #1.

Eurythmics – Would I Lie To You (An Eric ‘ET’ Thorngren Mix)
Random 80s remix #2.

Paul Hardcastle
Don’t Waste My Time (Extended Version)
Loitering With Intent
Moonhopper
Okay, so ‘Don’t Waste My Time’ is kind of a generic dance song that is kind of forgettable, both ‘Loitering WIth Intent’ and ‘Moonhopper’ are awesome tracks though – and ‘Moonhopper’ really has an early-ambient feel to it. I’m digging them. ‘Moonhopper’ is on a few greatest hits compilations, as is the original version of ‘Don’t Waste My Time.’ I don’t think ‘Loitering With Intent’ is on any proper album though, and has only been released on EPs and singles.

Pigbag
Whoops There Goes My Body II
Sunny Day
Papa’s Got A Brand New Pigbag
Let me get this straight…there was a funk, jazz post-punk/new-wave fusion band and no one told me? Various versions of ‘Sunny Day’ and ‘Papa’s Got A Brand New Pigbag’ are available on several Pigbag compilations, but ‘Whoops There Goes My Body II’ doesn’t seem to be on CD at all.
